Do you have sound on for computer/phone notifications?

I used to years ago when we had AOL & could do those You've got mail because I did the Powerpuff Girls Mojo Jojo lol Anybody use that back then? Now I don't bother with any sound for dings. It annoys me more to hear them now than it did back then.

I don't use any special notification sound for any app. In my old phone, i used to select a whistle when someone publishes a new tweet.

For work I keep all notifications and alerts on because I am paranoid about missing anything. Exception being when I am in a meeting then I silence everything.

For personal use, I keep all relevant alerts. If I am pinged for an app or something that I don't care for I am quick to disable or fully uninstall the program.

On my computer, the sound is always on... and sometimes on my iPhone too, but i put in silence mode when im going to sleeping!

I have zero sounds for mobile notification. It kind of make me feel unease. So, I decided that it is high time that I removed it because it doesn't make any sense to me at all.
