the one on the side is a simple widget, you can find them at ACP > Modules > Widgets on index > (frag and drop them)


for the one on the left, I don't get the issue

alright, let me try and explain it the much i can. I want to make my widgets look much like the help.forumotion.com widget and to have a border around the latest post on index just as I marked them in the screen shot.

Okay for the last posts to be with borders!
First go to your index_box and type in the search bar GROWX and replace the TD code with this:

Second, go to your css and add this:
