Beginner's guide

Years ago, when I was dabbling in coding, before I got back into forums, I was studying HTML. I had a book & they made it easy to learn step by step. I learned the basics & loved learning it. However, I got stuck on some parts & even though I called their Support, I couldn't get past that area & I gave up. Are there any websites that people can recommend for beginners?

The examples and explanation it's so simple and they allow to experiment and see what happens with every part hehe

If you want to learn other programming languages you can check Mozilla documentation or even a Youtube tutorial.

We also had a project in mind years ago to make "introductions" to coding, but we never really started

Amateurs like myself would appreciate a truly beginners guide. I've seen w3schools.com before mentioned as a good resource.

Until we potentially do that, there's an app called Mimo that makes learning to code HTML fun, and it's perfect for beginners. Learn HTML is also a good one (and free), making learning interactive with small challenges throughout. @ZandraJoi @Sharon

I'd really recommend learning at least the basics, as it makes owning and managing a forum (or any website) much easier!

Thank you for the replies here & the sites. I'll look into them as I do agree, it does help managing a forum easier. While I don't plan on being proficient, I'd like to learn a bit more of those basics.
