    Overview

    Description

    Sometimes we need to find a specific post in a topic. But the posts are long and there's a lot of text on the page - browsing through them is pretty boring. This script will help you!
    To search, you just need to know the page and at least one sentence word by word. As you can imagine, search the same page by topic.

    Installation


    Javascript & jQuery

    For the next step you need to go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP) Modules HTML & Javascript Javascript codes management and create a new code - upon verifying that Javascript codes management is enabled.

    • Title: free choice - does not influence the code effect
    • Where: Topics
    • Code:

      You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources



    Javascript Customization

    • You can change
      Code:
      var placeholderText = "Search topic ...";
      by specifying the placeholder text to be displayed in the search field

    • In your CSS you can use the

      #filterTopicos
      selector to customize the style of the search field
