    Description

    This tutorial allows to add a new preference setting in the edit profile page, which allows to automatically hide all signatures from all users.

    › Requires to be the Founder of the #Forumotion Forum
    › It works with all Forumotion forums' versions

    Installation


    Javascript & jQuery

    For the next step you need to go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP) Modules HTML & Javascript Javascript codes management and create a new code - upon verifying that Javascript codes management is enabled.

    Javascript Customization

    Provide information (if relevant) about what can be changed and used variables

    HTML Content & Templates Modification

    Then, you need to go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP) Display Templates Profile - profile_add_body and modify its content:

    Add this snippet after the previous one:

    Finally, go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP) Display Templates General - viewtopic_body and modify its content:

    Find this snippets:

    And wrap the content of the BEGIN and END tags with this:

    It will end up looking something like this

    Final considerations

    Please note that you do not need to save on the profile preferences, the preference is automatically updated once you change the checkbox.

    The settings relies on localstorage, so the preference will be different for each device that you use. By default it is set to "No".
