How to start with CSS

I always wanted to learn how to develop websites but CSS is my biggest issue. HTML and js are okay, but CSS is annoying. Mostly responsive stuff. Maybe I am dumb but it really makes it hard to understand how to place elements together and not make it displaced.

I see you guys made this website very nice, and it is responsive. How you started learning? And what path should I follow?

I learned to write in CSS from a friend who used to share code on his forum and I got curious about how he did it and I started to move to the different properties and attributes of each code, then I went to inspect each element and started to see what each thing did and try doing it with other elements of the HTML structure.

But how to learn in a way so you can build a complete website from scratch? Not inspect and edit already made templates.

Having a friend that can help you learn coding is one of the best gifts that you can get. I had a difficult when I began learning coding because I had only the YouTube to help me learn.

Other way to learn is just inspect element and try to modify values of the attributes and how it works, what changes in the forum/website.

When you repeat the same attributes again and again, you will memorize them.

For example:

Code:

color: blue;
}

Try to explore what happens if you change the "blue" attribute for a another color, like red, yellow, etc.
