    Description

    With this tutorial you will add a new button that will insert bump or any other text you want when you click on it.

    Technical limitations

    › This tutorial is dedicated to the forums powered by Forumotion free forum service
    › Requires to be the Founder of the #Forumotion Forum
    › It only works with PhpBB3 Forumotion forums' version.

    Installation

    Introduction

    Do you wanted to add an new button in the SCeditor of your forum, that inserts automacally a text when you click on it? Well, you are in the correct tutorial.

    Javascript & jQuery

    For the next step you need to go towards Administration Control Panel (ACP)   Modules HTML & Javascript Javascript codes management and create a new code - upon verifying that Javascript codes management is enabled.

      You need to reply to the topic in order to see the code resources




    Javascript Customization

    If you want to change the icon of the button, change this:

    background-image:url(https://i.servimg.com/u/f35/13/45/80/80/stock10.png)

    And if you want to change the text that will be inserted when you click on the button, find this:

    insertText("bump");

    Final considerations

    Be careful editing the script. Don't forget any quotes or semi colons to make it all work good.
