Latest / Recent Topics without using the widget

Hey everyone!

I'm not sure if there is maybe a non-js solution to this that is much simpler... but anyway:

I'm looking for a (simple) way to display the recent / latest posts of the whole forum without having to use the respective widget, so I have more flexibility where to display that information.

So basically, how do I get the contents of the latest posts widget, so I can use them anywhere without having to activate widgets in general?

so the best way is to create a portal with only that widget, and then use a script to copy that widget wherever you like

do you think you can create a portal and place that widget for me?
give me the link and then i'll be back with the full code

yes it has, but you can remove it from the navigation bar and not have it as index, so it will basically be a "isolated" page that you never cross ;)
